Yudhra box office collection day 2: The Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan-starrer action film Yudhra hit the screens on Friday. The movie, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Sudha Anukta, earned Rs 4.5 crore domestically on Day 1, but the earnings took a nose dive on its second day.
According to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, Yudhra earned Rs 1.50 crore on Saturday. This took the film’s total collection in India to Rs 6 crore.
On September 21, Yudhra had an overall 11.40% Hindi occupancy, with occupancy figures for morning shows at 6.11%, afternoon shows at 11.95%, evening shows at 10.84%, and night shows at 16.70%.
Yudhra marks Siddhant Chaturvedi’s first solo lead release. The movie, directed by Ravi Udyawar, also stars Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, and Raj Arjun in pivotal roles.
The Indian Express Flim critic Shubhra Gupta gave Yudhra two stars and wrote in her review, “Siddhant Chaturvedi is still new enough to liven up his undercover agent character, and he does try, but except for a few moments, he comes off as just another ripped actor playing out his required beats.”
She added, “Yudhra manages to make some resets but also succumbs to jadedness on multiple scores, so it becomes a case of coming upon a few energetic set-pieces which then sink into laxity and predictability which goes on for much too long.”
