Wimbledon 2025 live: Tennis scores and results with Alcaraz beating Tarvet before Raducanu vs Vondrousova

Raducanu up next against ex-champion Vondrousova

Okay, the final Centre Court match today pits Emma Raducanu against 2023 champion Marketa Vondrousova in round two.

Raducanu actually beat Vondrousova here in 2021, also in the second round, in that stellar debut Wimbledon campaign where the Briton reached round four.

Four years on, Raducanu, 22, looks to repeat that result against the Czech, 26.

Boulter taken to deciding set

*Boulter 7-6(7), 2-6 Sierra

A shout of delight from Sierra as she takes the second set with a big serve. The Argentine looks right at home on the grass and the big stage, not having lost any confidence despite losing that first set, and playing much more aggressively than the Brit.

Carlos Alcaraz speaks

“I have to give a big credit to Oliver. It’s his second match on the tour, I just loved his game to be honest, the level he played in his first match on Centre Court. I knew I had to play my best tennis, I played great tennis, really happy about my performance, and just big credit to him as well.

“Today I played against someone from here, at home, it was not easy, but the crowd was really respectful.”

On his run of 20 wins in a row: “I found the right way, I’m trying to enjoy every match, it doesn’t matter if I’m winning or losing. That’s the key in the last two or three months to my consecutive winning streak. I’m just trying to keep it going.”
