Babar Azam recently made a remarkable achievement in cricket history during the ODI tri-series final against New Zealand at Karachi’s National Stadium. The former Pakistan captain set a new record by becoming the joint-fastest player to score 6,000 runs in ODIs, surpassing Virat Kohli. Babar reached this milestone in only 123 innings, tying with South African legend Hashim Amla for this impressive feat.

Babar’s achievement surpassed some of cricket’s most prominent players, including Virat Kohli, who took 136 innings to reach the 6,000-run mark, and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and Australia’s David Warner, who both achieved it in 139 innings. Additionally, the highly awaited India-Pakistan match is set for February 23 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Kohli, who recently scored a half-century against England, will be keen to maintain his form for the upcoming prestigious competition.
