Upcycled Courier Uniforms : mori notes

FedEx is giving retired courier uniforms a second life through an ongoing partnership with Mori Notes, a Philippine-based NGO specializing in creative upcycling. In its latest initiative, 300 outdated shirts were transformed into 200 neck pillows and 200 gadget pouches—unique, sustainable gifts for customers. Now in its fifth year, the collaboration reflects FedEx’s broader commitment to reducing waste and promoting resourceful, responsible operations.

Beyond uniforms, FedEx donates used pallets and plastic materials to organizations that repurpose them, helping divert waste from landfills. The company is also investing in digital innovation to enhance efficiency and sustainability—rolling out paper-saving online shipping and customs declaration tools, and introducing a cloud-based emissions reporting platform that gives customers insights into their shipment-related carbon footprint.
