The Four Seasons Resort Tamaindo is just over a cliff that overlooks the Pacific Coast in Mexico. Visitors could easily miss the location but that is the exact purpose of its placement. The resort is defined by remarkable architecture and has been created by a few of Mexico’s most distinguished design studios.
The resort has 157 rooms and it is built in a way that honors its structure and the natural terrain it is nestled in. The structures are just along the natural contours of the cliff, raised 300 feet over the ocean. This echoes the mid-century works of Luis Barragán and pushes their ecological commitment to the natural reserve. The team of designers anchored the wellness complex with a large stone that was found during construction as well.
