Tommy Fury has mocked the comments he has been subject to since a video of him taking part in a timed run in Cheshire went viral. The boxer is often keeping his fans and followers updated on his training exploits as he prepares for a return to the ring.

Earlier this month, Tommy was mocked online after footage showed him bursting towards the finish line in a 10k run. In his efforts to improve his finish time, the former Love Island star was seen sprinting to the end at the Tatton Park even on January 4, seemingly not letting anyone stand in his way.

Now, Tommy has headed off to Italy and after arriving in Lake Como, he updated his Instagram followers. After taking in another 10k run around the “beautiful scenery” of Lake Como, he said: “Right guys straight off the plane, straight on the road, 10k done. In this beautiful scenery, Lake Como you are beautiful. And just to warn everybody no grannies were hurt in the process at the finish line.”

It comes after Tommy recently opened up about suffering ‘tough’ time in the past year as he reflected on 2024 in a new social media post. However, fans were quickly distracted by his ex-Molly-Mae Hague’s move.

The former couple recently spent their first Christmas apart having announced their shock split after five years back in August. The pair, who met on Love Island in 2019 and welcomed daughter Bambi into the world in 2023, had just celebrated their anniversary and 12 months since they’d agreed to tie the knot when they announced they’d split.

They’ve since been navigating co-parenting their young daughter and in her latest YouTube vlog, Molly-Mae shared how she’d woken up with Bambi in their family home before she headed to spend a few hours with Tommy before heading back to be with her mum and her family for Christmas.

But as a New Year began, Tommy took to social media to reflect on how the past 12 months had panned out for him alongside a sweet picture of himself and his daughter, who was sitting on his shoulders as they made their way around the Trafford Centre.

The Manchester-born boxer wrote to his millions of followers: “This little one keeps me going every single day. 2024… you were tough and taught me a lot. I’m more than ready to step into a new year and to continue working on myself.”
