Bandra East MLA Zeeshan Siddique, whose father Baba Siddique was shot dead allegedly by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang on October 12, was booked by the Mumbai Police in August on charges of obstructing officials from the Slum Rehabilitation Authority as they carried a survey at the proposed project in Bandra Kurla Complex.
According to an official, police issued a threat perception input regarding him, indicating a potential law and order issue surrounding the MLA and people close to him. Siddique’s security was subsequently enhanced.
