A kids’ unisex tracksuit top has been urgently recalled from end users. The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has recalled the Kids Unisex Rose Pink Tracksuit, sold by seller Stylerunway, due to dangerous cords around the neck area.
It warned: “The product presents a serious risk of strangulation as it has decorative cords around the neck which exceed the maximum permissible length.”

OPSS has urged shoppers have been urged to “stop using the product immediately”. According to the OPSS warning, “while worn, the cord may become entangled and tighten across the child’s neck, leading to strangulation”.
The OPSS stated: “The product presents a serious risk of strangulation as it has decorative cords around the neck which exceed the maximum permissible length. While worn, the cord may become entangled and tighten across the child’s neck, leading to strangulation.
“The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.”
OPSS product recalls are for specific products that have been sold in the UK and may require you to act to receive a free replacement, repair or refund from the manufacturer or a retailer.

The OPSS said: “The product has been recalled from end users. Consumers should stop using this product immediately and contact the TikTok seller or TikTok Shop Customer Service team to request redress.”
