Employers who hire for occupations that qualify for category-based draws

For candidates with CRS scores under 500, category-based selection under Express Entry offers a vital pathway to permanent residence (PR).

To be eligible, candidates must have at least six months of full-time, continuous work experience in an occupation that falls under one of the designated occupational categories. This work experience can be gained inside or outside of Canada.

Our recent article compiles a list from Canada’s top 50 employers, filtering by those who also hire for occupations that are eligible under multiple Express Entry categories (including healthcare and social services). For more information on category-based selections, visit our dedicated webpage.
