Here are all the changes coming to the Trafford Centre in 2025
Exciting new shops are coming to the Trafford Centre over 2025 including some changes taking place in April.
The latest newcomer to open is Blanchflower, an independent café and bakery, which already has branches in Altrincham and Sale. It serves brunch, lunch and weekend dinner, alongside fabulous coffee, house made cordials, wine and draft beer.
And mall bosses announced on Friday some huge news about who is taking over the former M&S site on Peel Avenue – with the arrival of new fashion store Bershka. It will be joined by popular brands Zara and Pull & Bear who will both be moving to larger stores on Peel Avenue from their current locations in the mall.
Those changes run alongside a number of other refurbishments and relocations taking place over the next few months in the iconic shopping centre. Lacoste is relocating to a larger store, Hollister is being refurbished and Moss is relocating, among others.
Currently situated on the mall’s Lower Peel Avenue, GAME sells video games, controllers, consoles and all kinds of techy gifts. Signs are now up in-store telling shoppers the store is closing down and ‘all stock must go’.
But the reason it’s shutting is because a new Sports Direct store has just opened across the bridge at Trafford Palazzo and it’s got a GAME store included.
The Trafford Centre’s new food area, called Eastern Gardens, was unveiled in February and now plays host to food and drink operators from across Greater Manchester, including Nichi, Chit ‘n’ Chaat and Hello Oriental restaurants. Blanchflower Coffee and Bakery was the latest to open on Friday, with Hello Oriental Bakery expected to open next.
