Rodgers is clearly unhappy with the new Jets regime after a poor exit meeting with new head coach Aaron Glenn.

He revealed that he took a cross-country flight to New York to meet with Jets leadership about the future of the team.

Rodgers revealed that once he arrived at the Jets’ facility, Glenn left the room to fetch general manager Darren Mougey.

“I meet with the coach, we start talking… he runs out of the room,” Rodgers said.

“Then he comes back with the GM and I’m like, ‘all right.'”

The 41-year-old expected to have a long conversation with Glenn about the team’s future.

He said that he knew the Jets moving on from him was a possibility, but he didn’t expect it to happen the way it did.

Mougey simply asked him “You sure you want to play football?”

Rogers replied “I’m interested,” but got a quick response from Glenn.

“We’re going in a different direction,” the Jets head coach said.

The Uncertain Future of Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers was stunned by the statement from Glenn, saying that he could have made that statement over the phone.

He sounded extremely offended by Glenn’s attitude in the conversation.

NFL fans appeared to agree with Rodgers’ opinion about the situation, and shared their thoughts on social media.

“Wow haha I mean that’s a bit wild lol,” one fan said.
