Emmerdale, EastEnders and Coronation Street are all lining up huge moments across the week ahead according to spoilers including a special episode, a double return and death hints
There’s huge scenes on the soaps next week with spoilers teasing several characters will take centre stage.
There’s three key storylines happening across Emmerdale, EastEnders and Coronation Street including a special episode for one of the soaps. Corrie is shining a light on racial injustice in maternity care, leading to harrowing scenes for Dee-Dee Bailey.
There’s a shocking revenge plan that escalates in Emmerdale, hinting at a double exit including a tragic death. Over on EastEnders and Walford residents will prepare to say goodbye to tragic Martin Fowler, after his shocking demise in February.
But as residents continue to struggle, there’s two familiar faces heading back to Walford as well as two new faces, bringing plenty of drama and secrets. Here’s all the biggest moments happening in each soap next week…

Emmerdale
Liam Cavanagh could be killed off in a shocking plot next week on the ITV soap, as things with ex Ella Forster take a terrifying turn. Ella returns to the village after some time away after being forced out.
In recent scenes she’s faced accusations of being behind Chas Dingle’s overdose. Ella was and remains insistent she did not drug Chas, while fans think it could be John Sugden.
Things reach a terrifying point next week though when a scorned Ella plans her revenge. Ella begins persistently messaging and calling the pair leaving them very worried, and things worsen when Belle Dingle receives a call cancelling the upcoming wedding.
They believe Ella’s harassment is increasing, and end up calling the police out of desperation as they don’t know what she’s planning next. Ella then turns up unannounced to the home Liam is currently sharing with Mandy Dingle, demanding to see and speak with him.
Mandy refuses, leading to a horrifying hostage situation with Liam forced to head over there. When he arrives she once again claims she’s being framed but Liam plots to convince her there’s a chance they can be together.
As he tries to trick her into confessing to tampering with the medication, Ella realises what he’s up to and grabs a knife. Chas soon arrives but she and Mandy watch on in horror as Ella threatens them all, before fleeing with Liam soon in pursuit, wanting their ordeal to be over for good.
Liam chases her into the woods where a confrontation happens, with her shoving him and causing him to fall and hit his head. Images show him in a bad way with Ella sobbing over his body believing she has killed him – but will Liam be okay?
EastEnders
It’s the lead-up to Martin Fowler’s funeral next week ahead of the service at a later date. His family must prepare to say goodbye, resulting in two returns and some new arrivals.
There’s tension between relatives next week, especially his partner Ruby Allen and the Slaters. Soon we see Martin’s daughter Bex Fowler make her big return to Walford to say goodbye to her dad.
A tearful Bex is reunited with her struggling mother who’s juggling caring for her newborn daughter while grieving for ex Martin, and trying to come to terms with killer fiancé Reiss Colwell’s actions and his demise. Bex isn’t the only one back in Walford though.
Vicki Fowler heads back to the show after decades away, with the role recently recast. She’s not alone though, as she heads to Walford with new flame Ross and his son Joel.
It’s soon clear she’s hiding some big secrets though, and it’s not long before the truth is revealed. Arriving with Vicki is new flame Ross and his son Joel.
Coronation Street
Dee-Dee Bailey experiences a horrifying hospital dash that sees her unexpectedly having to give birth after her initial pains are dismissed by doctors. The soap announced a new storyline exploring racial injustice in maternity care.
The delay in care and attitudes towards Dee-Dee have harrowing consequences, as Dee-Dee ends up having to give birth with an emergency delivery the only option. Her and her baby will be at risk in a storyline that will later see the character fighting for justice.
Dee Dee suffers a huge haemorrhage and has to undergo life-changing surgery. At the start of the week she’s sent home despite being in extreme pain for days, and when her waters break back in the hospital no nurse is around to help.
An inappropriate remark leaves her and her father Ed shocked, but Dee-Dee’s fears are confirmed when it emerges she is suffering from pre-eclampsia and the baby needs to come out straight away. The next episode, her family are allowed to see Dee-Dee amid her brother James’ plans to adopt her baby.
But Dee-Dee has to undergo an emergency hysterectomy as the result of her birth complications, and she soon learns she won’t be able to have any more children. Her father is devastated for her and urges her to rethink whether she gives away her baby.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
