Snowy rescue: Indian Army frees Himalayan brown bear cub trapped in tin can, wins Internet praise | Trending News

In a heart-warming act of kindness, Indian soldiers rescued Bahadur, a Himalayan brown bear cub, after it got its head stuck in a tin can on a snowy mountain. The rescue – which happened in an unidentified, remote, high-altitude area – gained a lot of attention after a video capturing it went viral on social media.

The video shows the soldiers moving carefully through snow to reach the bear. Initially, they tried to remove the tin by hand, but realising the cub could get hurt, they used tools to cut it open. With patience and care, they freed Bahadur without causing any harm to the animal.

After the rescue, the soldiers gave the cub some food. Bahadur stayed close to the soldiers for several hours – calm and even friendly – showing trust in them.
