Shake Shack offering free food to first responders in L.A. County

Shake Shack is thinking about L.A. County as first responders continue to deal with multiple wildfires across the region.

To support first responders, the chain is offering them free Shackburgers at any location across the county. The deal will be valid until Sunday.

“Our shacks are open when you need a moment; most are open if you are looking for a spot to sit, reconnect, and recharge,” the company said in a statement on X.

Shake Shack isn’t the only company lending a helping hand to the community.

Planet Fitness has opened its L.A. County locations to anyone, regardless of whether they are a member. Visitors will have free access to locker rooms, showers, HydroMassage loungers, electrical outlets and Wi-Fi.

Airbnb is also offering free temporary housing for residents displaced or forced to evacuate due to the wildfires. More information can be found here.
