The Thomas brothers appeared on the latest episode of Lorraine to discuss working together
Scott Thomas has revealed what ‘scares’ him about his brother Ryan ‘letting loose’ in their latest career venture.
Joined by their brother Adam, the Thomas trio recently reentered the podcasting world with At Home with The Thomas Bro’s.
Seeking to bring their fans inside the ins and outs of their life, the podcast was filmed in Adam’s house in order to align with the rise of the medium’s video format.
With the show’s description promising ‘laid-back vibes, unfiltered chats and brilliant banter’, the brothers previously presented Mancs On The Mic together.
Launched at the beginning of June, the episodes to date have seen Scott opening up about his stints on Love Island, providing parenting advice and reflecting on their relationships.
Appearing on Tuesday’s (August 5) edition of Lorraine, Scott was joined by his brothers as they provided an insight into why they decided to get behind the mic once again.
“We can talk about anything, there’s a bit of light and dark in there. We can talk about sobriety and my arthritis journey. There’s quite a few golden nuggets in there, but you can also tune in and have a laugh,” Adam said.
Scott added: “One thing we noticed is the world wants unfiltered and unpolished, just be authentic. That’s one thing we really are. A little bit too much. We’re scared of getting cancelled, especially when Ryan lets loose.
Ryan jokingly replied: “Be yourself or whatever, you can’t.”
Branded the ‘grown up’ of the group, Scott recalled bringing the idea of the podcast up to Adam and Ryan while they were sat in his back garden.
“I said ‘boys, people want to see us playing around, having fun and being brothers’. These guys were not used to social media. I said ‘please just trust me and give me a chance to bring this to life’.
“We literally started TikToks together, we have nearly a million followers in the space of less than a year. We have so much fun and it’s brought us closer together. We’re all performers and entertainers.
“Even the kids, Teddy got 40 million views just playing around in the garden. It’s brought us together,” he said.
Ryan noted: “As a family we have such a good time, we enjoy it and we get to share with our kids, let them perform.”
Admitting that he’s ‘spent years self-sabotaging’, Scott said that he’s found his ‘calling in life’ and the brothers have discovered ‘their little ding’ with the podcast.
