The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the completion of key renovation work at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, one of the three venues set to host the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The upgrades include enhancements to the main pavilion, media boxes, and spectator enclosures, ensuring the venue is fully prepared for the high-profile tournament.
In an official statement, the PCB announced that while major renovation work is complete, the installation of new seating in the enclosures is in its final stages. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi visited the stadium on Wednesday to inspect the facilities and was briefed on the progress.
“An ICC tournament is being held in Pakistan after a long time, and all preparations are complete for this event,” Naqvi stated, expressing confidence in the venue’s readiness for the marquee event.
