Queen Maxima of the Netherlands looked radiant as she stepped out in a statement purple coat to attend a reception in Amsterdam today.
The Dutch royal, 53, made her stylish appearance on Tuesday for a New Year’s reception for foreign diplomats and employees at the Royal Palace in the Netherlands.
The mother-of-three looked nothing short of sensational in the knee-length A-line Claes Iversen coat which featured starburst sequined embellishments across the body and sleeves.
She added a matching burgundy snake-skin clutch and opted for minimal jewellery to compliment her soft make-up.
She finished off her look by sweeping her blonde hair back off her face and letting it fall down her back.
Them monarch appeared to be in high spirits as she made her way inside the royal palace, beaming and waving to crowds waiting outside in the Dutch capital.
The queen last wore the chic coat in 2021 and previously stepped out in it on several occasion in 2017, marking the coat as a firm favourite.
Maxima’s outing comes after she put on a dazzling display in November as she was spotted in red checkered suit to attend an event in Assen.

The royal stepped out in a stunning cherry red ensemble as she arrived in Assen in the Netherlands, for the the 50th anniversary of the Northern Development Company.
She looked every inch the glamorous queen in a bold red number. The queen beamed from ear to ear as arrived in the northern Dutch city.
She wore a stylish tailored blazer with fitted suit trousers. Maxima looked stunning in the cinched in jacket as she showed off her slender physique.
The red checkered ensemble was perfectly matched to the queen’s autumnal red floppy hat.
Maxima previously wore the fashionable hat and suit combination when attending an event in 2018.
She wore a set of chic gold earrings and a blood red broach in the shape of a coneflower.
Maxima wore her typical glam makeup look with a full glowing base and dark lined eyes. She sealed the deal with a smattering of illuminating highlighter and rose pink lipstick.
She wore her sleek blonde tresses in an up do beneath her stylish wide brimmed hat.

Maxima accessorised the outfit with a pair of sophisticated red leather gloves and heeled boots in a matching shade of bold red.
Arriving at the event on Wednesday, Maxima was spotted beaming as she bent down to shake hands with a young girl.
The queen then greeted other officials who were present at the 50th anniversary of the Northern Development Company.
As she headed towards the celebrations at the venue in Assen, Maxima carried a stunning bouquet of flowers in colours that matched her outfit.
Before her appearance in Assen, the Dutch royal jetted off south-east Asia to attend Singapore FinTech festival in early November.
The queen also met with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at the Istana presidential palace in her capacity as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA).
Maxima looked as youthful as ever in the yellow number from Belgian fashion house Natan, one of her favourite places to shop.
The bright piece reflected Maxima’s beaming expression, as she appeared in great spirits for the second day of her three-day trip.

The mother-of-three has been seen in the dress several times since 2015, which was elegantly decorated with a woven floral motif, and complemented with a flattering belt.
She kept her blonde tresses loose and opted for her classic natural make-up style.
Maxima also attended a fireside chat event during the Singapore FinTech festival, which took place from November and was the reason for her visit.
The Singapore FinTech Festival is the largest in the world of its kind. The annual events seeks to recognise innovative FinTech solutions, financial institutions, technology companies.
