PSL 2025: Multan Matches Likely to be Rescheduled Due to Broadcasting Issues

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10 schedule has been revised following a request from the tournament’s broadcasters, affecting two matches originally set to be played in Multan.

The day match between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings, initially scheduled for May 1 at the Multan Cricket Stadium, will now take place on May 6 at the same venue. Similarly, the fixture between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators, originally planned for May 10, has been moved to May 11 and will be played as a night match at Multan Stadium.

Sources revealed that the broadcasters requested the changes due to logistical challenges, and the PSL 2025 management cooperated by adjusting the schedule accordingly. A likely reason could be that organizers had to expel 23 members of the PSL broadcasting team in response to rising diplomatic tensions between Pakistan and India.  Although there were talks about shifting the matches from Multan to Lahore, the venue remained unchanged.

Only the dates and timings of the matches have been altered, with Multan Cricket Stadium continuing to host the games as planned.
