Christmas cheer was alive and vibrant in Ottawa’s ByWard Market on Saturday, with everything from Santa Claus in drag spreading joy to carolers on the streets performing festive songs.

The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign added to the spirit in the area, while a man pedalled home with a Christmas tree and wreath strapped to his bicycle.

And all around the air was filled with the sounds of a holiday wonderland on Dec. 14, 2024.
