MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Best Virginia held its first practice for The Basketball Tournament (TBT) on Monday at the WVU Basketball Practice Facility. The team will practice throughout the week leading up to Friday’s 8 p.m. contest against the DuBois Dream at the Charleston Convention Center.
Of 10 players on the team’s roster, six were present for Monday’s practice: Jarrod West, John Flowers, James Reese V, Tre Mitchell, Kedrian Johnson and Wesley Harris.
Eduardo Andre, Toby Okani, J.D. Weatherspoon and Will Vorhees are expected to join up later in the week.
Fill-ins at Monday’s practice included several current and past Division II players in Fairmont State’s Isaiah Sanders, Jaidyn West and Zycheus Dobbs, as well as Tanner McGrew, a former standout at West Virginia Wesleyan who previously played for Best Virginia.
