The comedian referenced the recent debate following him calling for security to kick out members of the audience at his gig in Manchester
Peter Kay reportedly joked about kicking members of the audience out of his latest Birmingham gig.
It follow the 51 year old comic getting security to escort out several audience members for allegedly disrupting the performance at his show in Manchester earlier this month.
After one ejected fan was referred to as “Lisa Riley” by Kay, echoing the name of the former Emmerdale star, the situation made headlines, with the attendee accusing the comedian of being a “bully”.
Though Peter insisted it wasn’t an insult and even Lisa Riley herself saw no malice in the comment, the accused fan expressed that she felt humiliated by his words.

Kay allegedly said “Go on, off you go Lisa Riley,” prompting the reference.
The Mail Online reports that at his recent Birmingham gig on Friday night, Kay seemed to reference the incident, as he started his act with a warm greeting and a joke about not ejecting anyone unless they disrupted the show.
The publication reported he said: “Good evening, how are you?
“Can I just say thank you very, very much for coming tonight. I really do appreciate it. Thank you.
“Some of you have been waiting years for this and I hope you enjoy it, I really do.
“So I promise I won’t throw anyone out. I hope you have a good time. Well unless you f****** start – I’m only kidding.”
The past events were not forgotten by fans either. During the show, as a microphone was passed to an audience member, she mentioned it was her fourth time seeing his performance.
He quipped in response: “You’re kidding? Thank god you don’t look like Lisa Riley.”
Following his earlier jest about ejecting a fan in Manchester, Peter Kay discussed the incident on Good Morning Britain, saying: “I didn’t realise it was an insult,” and explaining, “She did look remarkably like Lisa Riley, I didn’t realise that was an insult.”
The woman involved, Myar Curran, said she felt humiliated and labelled him a “bully” while on the ITV show.
Myar stated: “I didn’t mean to cause any harm, I was just showing my love as he kicked someone out but he obviously didn’t like it.”
She continued: “I feel like what I said was not abusive or aggressive – it wasn’t anti-social and I wasn’t drunk.
“I was just standing up chanting ‘we love you Peter, we do’. It’s just been a bit over the top, his reaction.”
