Search engine Google have delighted fans with their touching tribute to Ozzy Osbourne
Technology giant Google has paid a touching tribute to heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne.
Ozzy fans noticed that if they typed Black Sabbath’s frontman’s name into the bar, a banner beginning with a train followed by a sign of the horns emoji started rolling across the screen.
The message reads: “Thanks for the mayhem, Prince of Darkness.”

Google usually pays tribute to significant people, events, anniversaries, birthdays, and achievements through their Doodle feature.
Nearly a week has passed since Ozzy’s wife Sharon and children Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis announced his death, sending shockwaves through the world.
They said: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.
“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
Ozzy, 74, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019 and had played his final concert at his beloved Villa Park in front of 42,000 fans earlier this month.
He was recognised as one of the pioneers of heavy metal music and his death has sparked a major outpouring of grief.
Legions of fans queued outside the city’s museum to sign a book of condolence or paid tribute at the Black Sabbath bench off Broad Street.
Meanwhile, the owner of Ozzy’s former Aston home has created a special email address so fans can send their tributes and memories.
The Zaman family have set up an email address so those making a pilgrimage can send their thoughts which they will preserve as part of the ‘Ozzy House Legacy Archive.’
A notice taped to the front door reads: “To honour his memory with love and dignity, we have created a dedicated email address for fans to send their messages and memories: ozzyhousetribute@gmail.com”
