Ottawa police seek to ID potential witnesses after stabbing

The Ottawa police have asked for the public’s help as they attempt to identify two potential witnesses to a Baxter Road stabbing on Feb. 15.

An altercation took place at a bar in the 1100 block of Baxter at about 1 a.m. on Saturday, with one man suffering stab wounds, police said in a news release.

Investigators want to speak with anyone who may have information about the incident, and police released screengrabs of two individuals they think are potential witnesses.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Ottawa Police West District Investigations Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2666. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or at crimestoppers.ca.
