Ottawa police have issued a request for public assistance in finding a 54-year-old woman who uses a manual wheelchair.

Citing “concerns for her well-being,” the Ottawa Police Service issued a media release about Cheryl Angenent late Wednesday afternoon, saying she had last been seen in the area of Carling and Parkdale avenues at about 12:30 p.m. on July 16.

The release described Angenent as a white female with a medium build and shoulder-length black hair. It added that she had been wearing glasses, a grey T-Shit and grey shorts.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts was asked to call the Ottawa Police Service Central Division Staff Sergeant at 613-236-1222 ext. 5212 and refer to case number 25-186452. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
