As Manchester continues to enjoy some fantastic weather over the weekend, there’s never been a better time to invest in your outdoor space. Barbecues are all well and good, but if you really want to turn heads at your next garden party, this Ninja Artisan Electric 13L Outdoor Pizza & Air Fry Oven is worth a look.

Normally costing £299.99, Ninja has just knocked £50 off the asking price, taking it down to a more plateable £250. The real selling point is that it’s capable of making three pizzas in quick succession, all within a ten minute window of each other, which is ideal when cooking for a large number of people.

Powered by electricity, this 1,760 watt oven is capable of reaching the super high temperatures needed to cook perfect pizza. It caps out at 370 degrees, and once preheated to that temperature, it’s capable of holding it there for as long as you need to cook your delicious pizzas.

No flame, full control, the electric heat unlocks complete temperature control up to 370°C

Despite getting up to some impressive temperatures on the inside, the outside remains cool to the touch thanks to the ‘cool touch’ end panels on the device. This will be music to the ears of parents with children who can’t help but have curious fingers.

There are four different modes for you to experiment with, including Pizza, Bake, Air Fry and Prove. While the oven is designed for flatbreads, you can get creative with cooking other foods in it too.

Ninja provides you with everything you need to get started in your outdoor cooking venture with a pizza peel included in the box for loading your pizzas quickly and safely.

If you prefer to get a proper woodfired taste going in your pizzas, you could instead opt for an Ooni device. These are fuelled by wood or charcoal and are currently available for £299.

Alternatively, there’s this BIG HORN OUTDOORS pizza oven which can be picked up for £128.99 at Amazon. It’s also fuelled by wood pellets for that charcoal taste, but takes longer to heat up than the Ninja.

Reviews of the Ninja Artisan Electric Outdoor Pizza Oven & Air Fryer are remarkably positive with 4.7 stars awarded across the 49 reviews on the site. “Very impressed, exceeded expectations. Big enough for a 12 inch pizza but small enough to easily move. Oven heats up fairly quickly, but then retains the heat if making several pizza’s,” writes one reviewer.

Another impressed customer said: “My pizzas, with minimal effort, blow shop bought ones away and I think they’re definitely on a par with ‘real’ pizza.”

Meanwhile, a third reviewer wrote: “Exactly as expected. Feels solid, makes you feel confident it can produce the desired heat, safely and with ease! Making the pizzas is hard but this oven even turns disastrous looking pizzas into yummy treats.”

However, some customers found the device a little hard to clean after heavy use. “Cleaning the pizza stone isn’t the easiest but that is the nature of not being able to use water to clean the stone and we have instead bought a brush online to clean the charred parts off,” they said.

A couple of customers found that their oven wouldn’t switch on after using it for the first time.

“Used the oven first time using shop bought pizza dough and it worked well and produced a great pizza. I was so pleased I decided to invite friends round last night to show off my new pizza making skills, unfortunately, the oven wouldn’t turn on. I followed the troubleshooting guide as pressed the reset button on the plug but it still didn’t work. The next advice is to call customer services but at 8.30pm they were closed so my pizza party became a take away party,” writes one reviewer. However, customer service has since responded to the review and resolved the issue for the shopper.
