New Balance have reduced the trainers from £140 down to just £70
New Balance has cut the price of their popular trainers by half price, with customers dubbing them “the most comfortable shoes ever”. The WRPD Runner Shoes, typically retailing at £140, are now on offer for just £70.
These unisex running shoes come in a selection of colours such as harbour grey, dark moss, and black, all available at 50% off. However, the ‘reflection’ and ‘rain cloud’ colour options are priced slightly higher at £84.
The product’s design is described as: “The uniquely conceptual design of the WRPD Runner is brought to life through a combination of exaggerated proportions and minimalist restraint. This new silhouette suggests a sense of fluid motion, with the sculpted contours of a full-length FuelCell midsole and an array of wavy accents surrounding an understated knit upper.”
In comparison, Nike is offering a discount on the women’s Nike Air Pegasus 2005 shoes, reducing them from £129.99 to £77.99, which means shoppers can save 40%. These shoes are also available in half sizes, ranging from UK 2.5 to UK 14.
Alternatively, Adidas also have a sale of up to 50% off with the Gazelle Bold shoes being 71.25 down from the original price of £95.
The New Balance WRPD Runners have earned a stellar 4.7 out of 5 stars rating with customers noting their comfortability.
A satisfied customer commented: “I really liked these sneakers, I only wear this brand and this model is the most comfortable. They look stylish. All my friends liked them, I will recommend and buy more.”

Another shopper enthused: “I love this so much that I bought it twice (two different colours). The MOST COMFORTABLE shoe ever and I own a large selection of gym shoes.”
Yet, this particular customer felt the shoes fell short in comparison to other styles they’ve experienced, noting: “Look good but not that comfortable, to be fair I normally wear 1080s and they are the best for comfort.”
