NETFLIX is continuing to expand it’s live sport portfolio by moving into horse racing.
The streaming service announced a new series to debut later this month.

It will be another behind-the-scenes type documentary similar to Drive to Survive and Full Swing.
“Race For The Crown,” will debut on April 22.
And it will focus on America’s Triple Crown season of horse racing.
The Triple Crown consists of the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes.
The Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky is run on the first Saturday in May.
It is followed by the Preakness Stakes in Baltimore, Maryland on the third Saturday of the month.
And the Belmont Stakes at Belmont Park in New York takes place on the first or second Saturday in June.
The new Netflix series will have six episodes.
A press release detailed which stars are set to be featured on the show.
US-based jockeys Brian Hernandez Jr and Katie Davies will be two of the stars.
Italian rider Frankie Dettori will also have a starring role on the series.
The show will be the latest Netflix behind-the-scenes documentary.
Formula One’s Drive To Survive and golf’s Full Swing have been two of the most successful.
Netflix has also produced basketball shows such as Starting Five and Court of Gold, the latter which followed the Paris 2024 Olympic tournament.
There is also NFL content such as Quarterback and Receiver as part of the catalog.
Netflix has been adding more live sports to it’s calendar in recent years.
The Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight last November was watched by 60 million households.
The streaming service also agreed a three-year deal with the NFL for live games.
They showed a double-headed on Christmas Day last year.
And they’ll have the same again on the holiday in 2025.
The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in the opening game on Christmas.
And the second fixture saw the Houston Texans take on the Baltimore Ravens with a special halftime performance from Beyonce in her hometown Houston.
