Natick police said they are “actively searching” the area for the student with K-9 units and drone teams. Anyone with security cameras in the area is asked to review them.
An 11-year-old girl who was walking home from school Monday afternoon in Natick is missing, police said.
The girl was last seen around 3:10 p.m. leaving Wilson Middle School on Rutledge Road, Natick police said around 8 p.m. Police said she was heading toward Ben Hem, or Bennett-Hemenway Elementary School.
The girl is Asian with black hair and wears glasses. She was wearing a black coat, black sneakers, a green top, and green sweatpants. She was possibly carrying a book, a book bag, and a water bottle with a red top.
Natick police said they are “actively searching” the area for the student and will deploy K-9 units and drone teams. The police are focusing near Wethersfield area, the elementary school, and the middle school.
“We kindly ask residents to avoid this area to allow officers to conduct their search efficiently,” Natick police said. “We also urge residents and businesses in the area to review any security camera footage that may have captured her whereabouts.”
