The renowned Parisian brand Sandro (SANDRO) has launched its first store in India, located at Jio World Drive in Mumbai. This venture is in collaboration with Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Brands Limited (RBL), marking a pivotal moment in Sandro Paris’s global expansion strategy. Spanning 1,600 square feet, the boutique showcases an exclusive collection for both men and women, offering an extensive range of ready-to-wear apparel and accessories. RBL, a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures, is an integral part of Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Group.
Founded in 1984 by Evelyne Chetrite and her son Ilan Chetrite, Sandro Paris has taken a major step into the Indian and South Asian markets with its launch in Mumbai. “This opening in India is paving the way for broader expansion in South Asia, and Reliance Brands, with its demonstrated success, is the perfect partner for us. We are excited to welcome RBL to the SANDRO family,” said Isabelle Allouch, Global CEO of SANDRO was quoted as saying to Economics Times.
The 1,600-square-foot boutique at Jio World Drive will offer SANDRO’s exclusive collections for men and women. As announced in a press release on Wednesday, the store will feature a selection of ready-to-wear clothing and accessories.
To mark its Indian debut, SANDRO is presenting its Holiday collection, featuring standout pieces like rhinestone-embellished tweed jackets and pleated trench coats. The collection also highlights a palette of timeless shades, including black, navy, brown, and grey, brought to life through Italian cashmere jumpers, overshirts, and jackets.
