The crash happened when a motorbike collided with a car and a van on Friday morning.
A man has died following a crash involving a motorbike and two vehicles on a busy Scots road.
The 59-year-old biker was riding a Suzuki DL150 when he was involved in a collision with a white Ford Puma and a grey Volkswagen Transporter van on the A82 near Tyndrum on Friday, August 1.
Emergency services raced to the scene, just south of where the West Highland Way crosses the route, shortly after 11.30am. Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. No one in the two cars involved was injured.
The road was closed for several hours while crash investigators carried out enquiries, finally reopening around 8.15pm.
Police Scotland have now launched an appeal for witnesses as they work to piece together exactly what happened.
Sergeant Louise Beale, from the Road Policing Unit in Stirling, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died.
“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I would urge anyone with information who hasn’t yet spoken to us to get in touch.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting incident reference 1156 of August 1, 2025.
