It could be a wet few days
Greater Manchester has seen plenty of dry weather recently – but a change is on the cards for this weekend.
The Met Office is forecasting prolonged spells of rain across the region over the next three days.
A cloudy afternoon is expected across Greater Manchester today (July 4), before wet weather moves in from around 5pm.
A spell of light rain is forecast to become heavy from 7pm until around 10pm, before light rain continues throughout Saturday morning and early afternoon.
Forecasters expect dry, cloudy conditions from later on Saturday afternoon, with sunny intervals during the evening.
But further spells of rain are forecast from the early hours of Sunday morning until lunchtime, before showers are forecast until Monday morning.
The Met Office expects top temperatures of 20C to 21C across the region today and tomorrow, hitting 22C in some areas on Saturday, including Trafford.
