Naga Naresh Karuturi was born in a small village called Tiparru on the banks of the Godavari River in Andhra Pradesh. His father was a driver, and his mother was a homemaker. Both of them were uneducated and somehow managed to support the family despite financial struggles.

During his childhood, Naga Naresh Karuturi was taken to a private hospital after an accident. However, due to poor financial conditions, the doctors refused to provide treatment. Eventually, the police intervened and admitted him to a government hospital, where doctors were left with no option but to amputate both of his legs. Since then, Naresh has relied on a wheelchair for mobility.

Naresh was academically brilliant from a young age, but due to financial difficulties, he had to drop out of school. Later, his family moved to Tanuku, where he enrolled in a missionary school. Despite numerous challenges, he continued to excel in his studies.

After completing his schooling, Naresh set his sights on one of the toughest exams in the country—the IIT-JEE. With dedication and hard work, he secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 992 and ranked 4th in the specially-abled category across India.

Clearing the JEE Advanced exam paved the way for him to pursue a B.Tech degree at IIT Madras, marking the beginning of his remarkable academic journey.

After completing his B.Tech from IIT Madras, Naresh received multiple job offers from various companies. Among them, he chose to join Google. Today, he works as a Software Engineer at Google, proving that dedication and passion can help overcome even the toughest challenges.
