Recently, Kanishak signed the resignation orders for his father, Sanwar Mal Verma, who retired from his role as Divisional Commissioner in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, on September 30 of this year. Prior to this, both Kanishak and his father received promotions in their respective pay scales.

In the recent years, Kanishak Kataria has gained recognition in the administrative field after achieving the top rank in the Union Public Service Commission’s (UPSC) 2019 Civil Services Examination. Notably, he turned down a high-paying job in Data Science that would have earned him one crore annually.
