The BBC’s Death In Paradise spin-off is captivating audiences with its third series, featuring DI Humphrey Goodman (played by Kris Marshall) at the heart of another perplexing case.
In a twist, his fiancee Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton) finds herself under the spotlight when it emerges that a sailor’s smoothie has been sabotaged before a significant race.

Polly – Madeleine Daly
On the final day of the regatta, Polly is in the running for first place, but “disaster strikes” as she collapses and falls into the sea, “throwing the entire race into chaos”.
Actress Madeleine Daly steps into the shoes of Polly, and while details about her are scant, her role in Beyond Paradise is set to make waves.

Hugo – Jason Hughes
Actor Jason Hughes takes on the character of Hugo, Polly’s “overbearing father” who is hell-bent on seeing his daughter win the trophy.
Hughes is known for his portrayal of Warren Jones in the ’90s series This Life and may be more widely recognised as DS Ben Jones from ITV’s Midsomer Murders.
In recent years, Hughes has appeared in Three Girls, Marcella, The Pact, and McDonald And Dodds.
Nathan – Silas Carson
The suspect list in the gripping competition is heating up with fellow dad Nathan, whose determination to see his daughter succeed has everyone questioning just how far he’s willing to go.
Brought to life by the talented Silas Carson, Nathan comes from a string of impressive roles which include appearances in Doctor Who, The Gold, Unforgotten, Holby City, and his most recent part as Jonathan Boardman in the BBC’s Virdee.
Francine – Laura Euler Rolle
Then there’s Francine, who, as Nathan’s daughter and Polly’s chief adversary, finds herself at the center of scrutiny when a shocking incident shakes up the final.
With Laura Eule Rolle being quite fresh in the acting world but already noted for roles in The Diplomat and Woman Of The Dead, she’s certainly one to watch.
Archie Hughes – Jamie Bamber
Archie may have been rejected by Martha in season one, yet he’s been creeping back into the storyline more frequently of late.
Jamie Bamber isn’t new to acclaimed characters, having portrayed Col Alexander Coltrane in Strike Back, DCI Tim Williamson in Marcella, DS Matt Devlin in Law And Order: UK, and the iconic Lee “Apollo” Adama in Battlestar Galactica.
Lucy – Eva Feiler
And let’s not forget about Lucy, played by Eva Feiler, the nurse and girlfriend of Josh Woods (Chris Jenks). She is due to make an appearance when Polly faces her troubles on the water.
Eva Feiler boasts performances in productions such as Urban Legends, Father Brown, The Crown, and We Were The Lucky Ones.
