The Scottish reality star was forced to address the ongoing spat with fellow bride Sacha Jones after she confessed she has been unable to turn on her phone in days over the abusive messages.
Married at First Sight UK star Erica Roberts has been forced to address the ongoing drama surrounding her and fellow bride Sacha Jones, following an explosive reunion episode.
The E4 reunion episode, which aired earlier this week on Monday, saw a host of familiar faces over the past two series of MAFS join forces for an ultimate dinner party, where a whole heap of drama unfolded.
However it didn’t stop there, with both Scottish bride Erica and co-star Sacha continuing to lock horns over comments that were allegedly made over on Erica’s podcast, which she hosts alongside Traitors star Meryl Williams.
“I tried to resolve this privately, but this has gotten way out of hand now,” Erica wrote in a post which she shared with her 116k Instagram followers. “I’m really struggling with all of this, I’ve tried to stay quiet and haven’t been on my phone because all of this but a week later and she still isn’t stopping.”
Erica added, as she shared an attachment to a TikTok video link, “I hope this clears some things up and it can be put to bed.”
Over on TikTok, both Erica and Meryl sat down to address the backlash from their podcast, in which Meryl was supposedly mocking the fact that Sacha has become a Christian since her time on the show. Meryl strongly denied the dig, explaining she is a Christian herself.
Erica also said on the podcast that Sacha “dropped to the floor” following the news that her ex-husband from the show, Ross, apparently slid into the Scottish brides DMs.
Sacha immediately denied the accusations, as the pair have been at blows with various social media digs since. Erica even accused her co-star in her TikTok address regarding the situation of Sacha deleting comments which supported Erica, leaving more hate at her door.
Addressing where the apparent feud came from, Erica said: “I said she cried on the floor and now I’m being accused of mocking her religion which is absolute BS and something I’d never ever do.”
It comes following fresh controversy aimed at Erica following the reunion, when it came to light she had spent a night in Edinburgh with fellow groom Kieran Chapman and shared a kiss, since they appeared on the show married to other people.
Fans took to social media following the reunion episode, being left disappointed in Erica appearing to rub the news in Kristina’s face. This prompted her to clear the story up as she addressed the backlash on Instagram.
Erica wrote to her 115k followers earlier this week: “Haven’t watched tonight’s episode yet because I’m busy but just to clarify, Kristina already knew and had been told off camera what had happened which is why I brought it up at the dinner table.
“I wouldn’t have ever mentioned it or ‘blindsided’ her in front of everyone if she didn’t already know what was going to be said. Please remember this is a TV SHOW for your entertainment and it’s literally not that deep. All love goodnight xxxx,” she wrote.
