Manitoba (February 21 to 28)
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held draws under two streams on March 21.
The first draw was under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream, for those who have completed post-secondary study in Manitoba. That is, they or their spouse must have completed post-secondary education in the province to be considered.
There were 101 Letters of Advice to Apply issued, and the lowest score among invited candidates was 844.
Candidates selected in this draw must be able to provide documents demonstrating this requirement (such as a diploma and transcript) or will have to decline their Letter of Advice to Apply.
The second draw was in the Skilled Worker Overseas stream. The MPNP issued 7 Letters of Advice to Apply to candidates invited under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. Candidates required a score of at least 705 to be invited.
Of the 108 total Letters of Advice to Apply issued, 23 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
Northwest Territories (March)
Earlier this month, the Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP) announced that the application intake period has closed, as of March 6, 2025.
Of the submitted intake, 90 applications have been picked at random, and selected applicants have been notified by email.
Applications that are not selected will stay in the intake queue until December 12, 2025.
If an application is denied or withdrawn, the NTNP will select another application from the intake queue at random for assessment.
Note: The Northwest Territories nomination allocation for 2025 is 150. NTNP is only selecting 90 applications because 60 were received in 2024 beyond the allocation for the year, and they are being processed under the 2025 allocation.
