A man has died after a suspected medical episode caused a crash on a Tasmanian Highway.
The man, aged in his 70s, was driving on Lyell Hwy in Sorell Creek when he crashed head-on with another car about 9.15pm on Thursday.
Paramedics and police were called to the scene, however, the man was declared dead at the scene.

“At this stage, it appears the man suffered a medical episode,” police said.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.”
The occupants of the second car were uninjured.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
“Anyone who witnessed, or has dash camera footage of a silver Great Wall Utility around the time of the crash, is asked to contact police.”
