The remaining three men have been released from custody pending further investigation after being interviewed by officers.

The arrests and subsequent charges are in relation to an alleged shooting on Parson Street in Rye just after 4am on December 2.

Early that morning, a man and woman attended a home at that address and allegedly got into a fight with the residents.

Emergency services were called to the scene and found the suspected female intruder and a male resident with gunshot wounds.

The 19-year-old woman from Mornington and the 29-year-old man from Rye both died.

Meanwhile, the alleged male intruder fled the scene.

Police believe all people involved knew each other and the incident was targeted.

The 24-year-old Narre Warren was remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court next May.

Investigations remain ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
