A man has died following a crash in Sydney’s west.
At about 7.45pm on Thursday, police were called to Carlisle Ave in Mount Druitt, where they found a man with life-threatening injuries.
He had been carrying a one-year-old child at the time of the incident. The 57-year-old was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
A short time later a man, who police believe to be the child’s father, presented to Mount Druitt Hospital with the child who was transported to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the car allegedly left the scene.
