A man in Newton allegedly exposed himself to a group of teens on Thursday, Newton police said in a notice posted on Facebook. 

The Newton Police Department is now asking for the public’s help finding the suspect and the van he drove.

Police said two teens were walking near Hartman Road and Village Circle on Nov. 21 around 2:30 p.m. when a man driving a large white van drove up and exposed himself.

According to the statement, the suspect is a man in his early to mid twenties with short dark hair and a medium complexion. Police said he was wearing sunglasses and a black tee-shirt during the incident. 

The white van, as seen in a photo posted by Newton police, has a large silver trailer attached to the back of the vehicle. The van also has a large black stripe on the bottom.

Police said officers are conducting additional patrols in the area while the incident is under investigation.
