A 32-year-old man is accused of exposing himself in public on numerous occasions in Clarington.

Durham Regional Police say officers responded to a Metro grocery store at 243 King St. E., in Bowmanville, on March 2 and arrested a man for allegedly walking around the store with his genitals exposed.
Further investigation revealed that the same man had allegedly exposed himself during three additional incidents dating back to December 2024, police said.
Johnathan Sheard, of Newtonville, is charged with four counts of committing an indecent act in a public place.
Investigators have released a photo of the accused out of concern for the possibility of other alleged victims.

MAN, 60, FACES CHILD PORN CHARGES
A 60-year-old man faces child pornography-related charges after a search warrant was executed this week in Scarborough.
Toronto Police say officers searched the residence near Lawrence Ave. E. and Beechgrove Dr. on Tuesday after someone allegedly uploaded a quantity of child pornography to the internet.
Cops allegedly located “a quantity of child pornography” on devices that were seized during the search.
Christopher Reynolds, of Toronto, is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, and one count each of accessing child pornography and making child pornography available.

MAN SOUGHT FOR FIRING GUN DURING OSHAWA FIGHT
An unidentified male is sought after a firearm was allegedly discharged during a fight in Oshawa last weekend.
Durham Regional Police say officers responded to an armed person call in the area of King St. E. and Eastlawn St. around 2:30 a.m. on April 5 and located a single bullet casing.
Cops determined there was a verbal altercation between two groups of people who had just left a local bar and a physical altercation ensued when one of the males pulled out a gun and fired it into the air.
The crowd dispersed before officers arrived on scene.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as Black, with a thin build, and he was wearing a ski mask, black puffer jacket, black pants and black shoes.

MAN ARRESTED FOR ASSAULTING PEOPLE IN MIDTOWN TORONTO
The hunt is on for a man armed with a knife who assaulted several people in midtown Toronto on Thursday.
Toronto Police say officers responded to reports of a person with knife at Yonge St. and Lawrence Ave. just before the noon-hour.
A suspect was quickly located and taken into custody, but there was no immediate word on charges.
The injuries of those who were assaulted were described only as non-life-threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.

A lengthy drug investigation dubbed Project Dilly – a reference to the street name for the prescription drug Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) – has has led to multiple arrests in St. Catharines.
Since October 2024, Niagara Regional Police have been investigating the illegal sale of controlled substances in the area of Queenston and Church Sts.
The probe was launched in response to repeated community concerns about discarded prescription pill bottles found in the area and red flags about potential drug diversion and related criminal activity.
In March 2025, officers arrested and charged four individuals in connection with the sale of prescription medications.
