Maharashtra Assembly Polls Live Updates: The poll battle between Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi is on its final leg with merely 12 days to go for the Assembly polls. Union Home Amit Shah will be in the state today to give the BJP campaign a push, addressing rallies in Mumbai, Jalgaon, Buldhana, and Amaravati.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP’s star campaigner Yogi Adityanath’s “batenge toh katenge (divided we fall)” remark seems to have revealed that all is not well within Mahayuti alliance. Notably, the NCP is not holding rallies of UP CM, Shah and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi. NCP chief Ajit Pawar distanced himself from such comments saying the state is committed to communal harmony.

In other news, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray yesterday accused the BJP of taking big-ticket investments to Gujarat and “crushing the dreams” of Maharashtra’s youths. During a rally in Sewri, Thackeray said, “This poll will be the most important poll of our life. This poll is not (about) getting back our symbol and the party or for Uddhav Thackeray or me. This poll is important for Maharashtra and Mumbai.”
