Ross Mayer, the established Canadian fashion designer known for sophisticated women’s wear, has launched a new flagship boutique for his MAYER brand in Toronto’s upscale Yorkville neighborhood. The 1,000-square-foot gallery-style retail space on Cumberland Street showcases Mayer’s expansion into menswear with a clean, modern aesthetic featuring white interiors and golden accents that highlight the brand’s bold prints and vibrant designs. With inclusive sizing from XS to 3XL, MAYER offers elevated daywear and occasion styles alongside custom tailoring services for special events and couture bridal options.
The boutique represents a strategic brick-and-mortar expansion for the brand, strengthening Canadian customer connections while responding to global trade shifts. MAYER has adjusted its manufacturing strategy, producing collections in China, Portugal, and Canada while recently pulling production from Los Angeles due to trade regulations. The brand continues its successful collaboration with Ross Mathews of RuPaul’s Drag Race on seasonal capsule collections and plans further expansion with a Montreal location by 2027, alongside a return to women’s ready-to-wear for Fall/Winter 2025/26.
