Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford shared “it gets worse” as she announced the news that the show won’t be on-air for the rest of this week.

During Monday’s (June 16) installment, presenter Ruth Langsford led the panel as she was joined by Olivia Attwood, Kelly Brook and Nadia Sawalha.

As the ladies discussed topics such as celebrating Father’s Day, whether or not women should be making a packed lunch for their partners, and their thoughts on sneezing, viewers will sadly miss out on the conversations for the rest of this week.

At the end of the show as the panel bid farewell, Ruth shared: “That’s it from us today, and it gets worse, it gets worse. We’re not on all week. ITV’s coverage of Ascot will be on, but we will be back next Monday, same time, 12:30.

“Until then, have a lovely week, enjoy the sunshine if you have it. Bye bye!”

All 35 races at the Royal Ascot will be available to watch on ITV, with ITV1 airing the first six races of the day before moving over to ITV4.

For Coronation Street and Emmerdale fans, there’s no worry as the scheduling will not impact the evening soaps.

For any fans of the prestigious horse racing event, the Royal Ascot will air from Tuesday 17th June until Saturday 21st June.

During the first and final Loose Women episode of the week, they celebrated 10 years since ITV dating show Love Island first graced our TV screens.

Former contestant Amy Hart joined the panel in the studio as she explained how the show changed her life.

While being partnered with dancer Curtis Pritchard, Amy left the villa after he decided he wanted to pursue things with other contestants.

Heartbroken, Amy made the decision to leave before her mental health declined further. Since leaving the show, Amy has found love with her now-husband Sam and they have one child together.

She expressed: “I was bringing the mood down for everyone, they were all trying to find love… All I was doing was not having a very nice time, so I got to go home and have fun with my friends and family.”

After her experience on Love Island, Amy attended therapy, where she reflected: “I did a lot of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)… With CBT, you have your core beliefs which aren’t true. My core beliefs were I’m unlikeable, I’m ugly, I’m not good enough and I’m annoying.

“So then in Love Island it was ‘I don’t want to be with you anymore’, I was like ‘I’m really annoying and nobody likes me’. So, working and breaking those down and saying, ‘I am likeable, I am a nice person and I am a good person’ changed my life.”
