Police said the woman was delivering flowers and failed to put her car in park.
Several officers and civilians helped rescue a woman trapped under a car in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on Thursday, officials say.
At 1:38 p.m., Lawrence Police responded to 70 Bennington St. for report of a female trapped under a vehicle, authorities said.
With help from civilians, responding officers were able to lift the car to free the woman, according to the Lawrence Police Department.
Police said the woman was delivering flowers and failed to put her car in park.
The woman was taken in an ambulance to Lawrence General Hospital. Lawrence Fire Chief Brian Moriarty told Boston 25 that she suffered non-serious injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
