The guest judge was awarded Ant and Dec’s Golden Buzzer – but fans didn’t all agree with how he used it
The Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals were left excited as KSI joined the judging panel, featuring Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli, becoming a fifth judge.
However, the YouTuber faced criticism after hitting the Golden Buzzer for magician Harry Moulding.
Moulding’s act took an unexpectedly turn as it ended with a touching proposal, with an audience member being asked the big question in front of judges and live audience, reports the Express.
The moment prompted KSI to grant him a fast pass to the final with the coveted Golden Buzzer. This moment, however, was followed by nine year old dancing sensation Binita Chetry, whose performance captivated the nation.

Viewers voiced their displeasure on social media with one tweeting their frustration that Binita didn’t receive the Golden Buzzer: “Really p***es me off thst KSI would use his golden buzzer on a TALENTLESS completely staged act instead of on a 9 year old girl with a genuine gift #bgt.”
Another weighed in with similar sentiments: “Congrats KSI on wasting your golden buzzer on a s**t staged magician when that talented girl is RIGHT THERE #bgt.”
A third disgruntled fan declared: “BGT magician Harry Moulding getting the golden buzzer in the semi-finals is why I’m not watching #BGT next year. I’ve watched every year, and this is the first year I’ve been actively p***ed off.”
Yet, amidst the backlash, there were voices in support of KSI’s choice, with someone affirming: “By a mile the best and most deserving golden buzzer this year.”
One enthusiastic fan exclaimed: “HARRY GOULDING YOU HAVE A GOD GIVEN TALENT IN MAGIC. How the hell Harry did that in the last 48 hours is mental glad KSI gave him the golden buzzer”.
