Kmart’s bold new homewares range is unlike anything they’ve done before – and insiders are already convinced it’s going to be a sell-out.

Kmart is continuing its First Nations program in collaboration with well-known Indigenous artist, Rachael Sarra, and this week unveiled the new breathtaking Spirit Entwining homewares collection.

The ‘thoughtfully curated’ range will launch on 13 March and include bed linen, home décor, dining, and on-trend furnishings inspired by current must-haves.

Drawing from her roots as a proud First Nations woman from Goreng Goreng Country, the humble and exceptionally talented Rachael Sarra is famed for art that tells powerful stories.

Her signature contemporary style, infused with vibrant pinks and purples, invites emotions ranging from calm reflection to energetic inspiration – all while remaining deeply connected to her culture.

Wanting to make her in-demand prints more accessible to fans, the partnership with Kmart was a no-brainer.

And the spectacular result is reflective of her passion.

A result of a close and collaborative partnership between Rachael and Kmart’s locally led design team in Melbourne, the collection honours the cultural significance and purpose behind each piece and authentically represents Rachael’s vision.

The vibrant pink bedspreads will add a striking contrast in tonal rooms while the $12 vases are available in purple hues that perfectly complement natural floral arrangements.

One vase has been a stand-out to those who have seen it in person, with many certain it’s only a matter of time before it sells out nationwide.

Offering a harmonious blend of practicality and beauty, the dining range includes eye-catching serve ware that brings to life the simplest meals with elegant, scalloped edging.

Meanwhile, mini lamps, etched flourish glasses, beautiful prints and intoxicating candles make for the perfect finishing touch on any home.

‘Partnering with Kmart has been a deeply rewarding experience. This collection reflects my heritage and story in a way that feels bold, accessible, and true to my vision,’ Rachael said.

‘Kmart’s unwavering dedication to authenticity and cultural respect throughout this journey has been profoundly meaningful to me.

‘I believe in the power that art plays to tell a story and to allow people to explore complex ideas in an engaging and inclusive way. As a First Nations artist from Goreng Goreng Country, I draw on my heritage to produce pieces that are steeped in culture, while being contemporary and future facing.’

Kmart’s Head of Community, Trish Briggs, said the new range is something the entire team is exceptionally proud of.
