On Saturday night, The Masked Singer fans continued to speculate over the character’s true identities. After Kingfisher’s performance, fans took straight to social media to share their thoughts on who the celebrity could be.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan revealed: “Kingfisher is 100% Harry Hill. His name first name was on the wheel, the other week and he was on The Wheel on BBC1. The A+ paper was because he was a doctor! And that voice is obvious. #TheMaskedSinger.”

Fellow comedian Jonathon Ross is among the show’s celebrity judge panel, leading fans to believe he must whether Hill is behind the mask. One X user wrote: “Kingfisher feels so obviously Harry Hill, but Jonathan is protecting him so he stays a couple more weeks.”

Another user Kevin added: “Kingfisher is 100% Harry Hill and Jonathan Ross knows it is.” While Irene said on X: “Sounds sooo like Harry Hill to me.”

Although, not everyone is convinced. In between each performance, fans and judges are treated to a set of clues that might help them guess the identity. X user Wendy wrote: “Kingfisher I can only hear Harry Hill when it comes to the voice. Clues wise I’m thinking Bob Mortimer though?!”

Similarly, Helen wrote: “Kingfisher is @RealBobMortimer I think.” Whereas another fan Rhys wrote: “Kingfisher is clearly Simon Farnaby. #TheMaskedSinger.”

Last week, episode two revealed that the identity behind character Toad in the Hole was singer Macy Gray. The Grammy winner stormed off stage following her reveal, before being eventually enticed to return to stage to chat with host Joel Dommett.

To see who will be revealed next, fans can tune into the hit show on Saturdays at 7pm.
