Susanna Reid brought Good Morning Britain to a halt in order to make a ‘breaking news’ announcement regarding the economy
Good Morning Britain was interrupted by a breaking news announcement from Susanna Reid during Wednesday’s (26 March) episode of the ITV show.
Susanna, hosting alongside Richard Madeley, had an update on the economy for GMB viewers, ahead of the government’s Spring Statement later today.
The presenter revealed that inflation had fallen to 2.8 per cent in February, before welcoming ITV political correspondent Louisa James, who delved further into the figures.
Louisa also went on to shar what people can expect from Rachel Reeves’ highly anticipated statement, which will be announced at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, 26 March, with coverage on ITV News.
