Coronation Street stars have rushed to support Jack P Shepherd, who is currently in the Celebrity Big Brother house alongside other famous faces. Thursday’s episode of the reality show saw the celebrities nominate who they would like to be eliminated from the show.

Hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu returned to front the new season and welcomed a host of famous faces on to the show. Chesney Hawkes was the first celebrity to be revealed, followed by Trisha Goddard, Jack P Shepherd, JoJo Siwa, Chris Hughes and Patsy Palmer.

Other celebrities currently living in the house include politician Michael Fabricant, American actor Mickey Rourke, TOWIE star Ella Rae wise, Olympian Daley Thompson, comedian Donna Preston and former Martin Lewis Money show co-host, Angellica Bell.

On Thursday, each celebrity attended the Diary Room one-by-one to reveal who they wanted to eliminate. Viewers saw Jack and Michael receive the most nominations from their housemates.

Jack received eight nominations from Angellica, Chesney, Danny, Donna, Ella, JoJo, Patsy and Trisha. Meanwhile, Michael received seven nominations from Angellica, Chris, Daley, JoJo, Mickey, Patsy and Trisha.

The celebrities thought Jack was too observant and thought he came across as not very sociable. They all agreed he failed to check up on his housemates following the chaos earlier in the week. JoJo said: “Jack is just Jack. If you lose your water bottle, he’s not going to help you find it.”

Fans took to social media after finding out that Jack was in danger. One wrote: “WHY IS JACK GETTING ALL THE NOMINATIONS STOP.” More added to the conversation on X: “Jack is not what I expected him to be like in this at all”, “Noooo!! Leave my Jack/David alone” and “I can’t believe everyone is voting for Jack to go.”

Taking to the On The Sofa podcast, Colson Smith and Ben Price discussed what they thought about their Corrie co-star’s possible fate ahead of Friday’s elimination.

Ben Price, who portrays Nick Tyldesley on the Cobbles, admitted: “I’m feeling a bit sad.” He added: “It felt like I saw my mate look a bit upset really, he looked a bit sad.”

Colson agreed: “It was a hard watch.” He continued: “He’s had eight nominations in a house of 12.” Colson, who plays Craig Tinker on the ITV soap came third in last year’s series of Celebrity Big Brother as he lost out to David Potts and Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita Kuzmin.

The 26-year-old actor said: “I feel a bit gutted and deflated having seen Jack and his reaction. Knowing what life is like in the house, it really would take its toll on you.”

He continued: “As his friend we know he is cool, calm and unemotive which are some of the reasons why the housemates are nominating him for eviction.” Ben added: “From what I witnessed, Jack was gutted and he looked disappointed.”

Other Coronation Street stars have shared their support for Jack P Shepherd. Samia Longchambon has known Jack for a long time, with both being long-standing characters on Coronation Street. She took to Instagram to share a selfie of the two.
